Mission and Vision
Carroll Counselor's mission:
The Carroll Counseling staff believe in all students regardless of their heritage or background. We acknowledge and promote that all students have the ability to achieve excellence for themselves in their pursuit of success. Our mission is to be an advocate for all students academically, socially, emotionally, and in their career studies. We strive to be an integral part of each student’s achievement and well-being by having an open-door policy alongside a non-biased world view. In collaboration with our families, teachers, administration, stakeholders, and community we will assess student needs and implement action plans to address those based on our student’s data. Our mission is to assist our students to focus on their development and prepare to lead fulfilled and responsible lives.

Carroll Counseling staff envision ethical practices that incorporate data to drive our program outcomes. We hope that Carroll students leave our schools prepared to make informed and emotionally intelligent decisions. We will utilize our national and state professional standards to promote the use of evidence-based models to enrich our counseling program at each developmental level. Our long term goal is to model leadership through the development and implementation of a comprehensive school counseling program based on the American School Counselor’s professional standards and competencies.
